Sometimes, instinct is bad. Like when I was dealing with anything about The Ladykillers. It didn’t sound good to me. Maybe it was Hank’s goatee, maybe it was the title. I didn’t feel it was a good movie.
Well, forgive me, Cohen brothers, I was wrong. Witty movie, superb cast. Really, the only weakness of the movie is its marketing. And maybe Marlon Wayans.
From now on, I’ll never doubt the Cohen brothers work.
Maybe all moviemakers should be brothers, like the Cohen and the Wachowski.
